010640z TF Rock LN Convoy Ambushed IVO FB Michigan

At 0640z, TF Rock sent the following SPOT Report: A convoy of Jingle Trucks was attacked 600-1000 meters south of Michigan. A Few small arms rounds about 45 min. ago. 2 men injured came to Michigan, one man went to another village, one local not accounted for att. A-2-6 is attempting to get ANP to escort drivers out to recover trucks. Later reporting indicated that 3 jingle trucks, 6 local pax in convoy, 2 wia went to mich, 2 wia went to abad, 1 kia, and 1 MIA. The location is 600-1000 meters south of Omar. CF are trying to get ANA to escort ANP and drivers to pick up the trucks with battle ovewatching from vegas. The KIA was recovered and is at FB Michigan ATT. Nothing follows. 1 SEP Jingle Truck attack Immediately following the attacks on the truck we responded with a PSA exploiting the fact that the ACM again targeted Afghan civilians. We also had our journalist conduct an interview with the ANP District Chief who condemned the attacks on their fellow countrymen. The local leadership held a shura the following day to hold the elders of the villages between Kandagal and Omar responsible for the ACMs freedom of movement. They stressed the fact that in order for their country to progress and for security to increase the locals must do their part to ensure the safety of their people.
