Trade Negotiations

First published 13 November 2013 · Trans-Pacific Partnership and Trade in Services Agreement negotiating parties · 2 releases

Secret negotiating texts of two trade deals: the TPP's intellectual-property chapter (2013) and the TiSA financial-services annex (2014).

Overview

The TPP and TiSA were negotiated with no public draft text. We published the consolidated TPP Intellectual Property chapter in November 2013 and the TiSA Financial Services Annex in June 2014.

Both are bracketed texts recording the proposals and objections of each negotiating state. The TiSA annex was marked to stay classified for five years after the agreement entered into force.
