At 1025Z, RC North reported an IED Find. PRT MES reported a possible IED. TF from PO Sheb proceeded to the site and discovered UBE. IED team confirmed an IED consisting of 50 kg UBE and conducted a controlled detonation. NFI att. At 1310Z on 01May09, IED was recovered and some evidence was secured. It was assessed IED was not placed to be used at that spot. No casualties or damage reported. NFTR. Event closed at 1602Z. ISAF # 05-0025
