Report text

(Delayed Report) CEXC reported that 0600Z, the EOD team from FOB Orgun-E received notification that an IED was found in a school in Bermel. Earlier that morning an explosion occurred at the school. The response security force arrived and discovered two (2) more IEDs in a hallway of the school. EOD was notified and flew to FOB Bermel. After the teams arrival on scene they preformed an RSP on the devices and then conducted a search of the school for secondary devices none were found. Of the three primary devices found, one had detonated. The other two Mosque clocks were found without batteries installed. This was probably due to the suspect(s) being under a time constraint and from their nervousness forgot to install the batteries. Also found were two (2) 122 mm projectiles. The EOD team along with the security force RTB without further incident.
