Report text

(Delayed Report)At 0845Z, CEXC Kabul received a call from Kabul City Police (KCP) about an IED founded in West Kabul. CEXC responded to the site along with KCP elements. The Afghanistan National Directorate of Security (NDS) EOD team was conducting render safe procedures as we arrived. CEXC examined the IED at the scene with the NDS and it was determined to be a pre-placement of IED materials for future use. All items were recovered and are currently being held by NDS.
