At 0342Z TF Helmand reported an mine strike at grid 41S PR 842 566, in the Sangin district, Helmand province. The front end of a Coalition Force vehicle was destroyed. TF Helmand requested permission to deny the vehicle to the enemy. EVENT reclassified as MINE STRIKE as area is heavily mined. Site was not exploited. Event closed at 0510Z. UPDATE: 1x UK WIA.
