Report text
At 010603ZDEC06, JBAD PRT reported a LN informed the JBAD PRT that a UXO had detonated in Tangi Village 12km North of JBAD PRT injuring 1 LN and killing 1 LN. Two LNs were digging north of the village when they hit a mine that detonated. One LN was DOA and the other was brought to JBAD PRT with severe injuries. An ambulance was dispatched. 0624Z MEDEVAC requested. 0629Z PA assessment was injuries were too severe to await a MEDEVAC and LN was loaded onto an ambulance for a local hospital. Request for MEDEVAC was cancelled. Event closed at 0636Z. ISAF Tracking# 12-005.
