*****LATE REPORT***** WHEN: 01 0750D AUGUST 09 WHO: APOLLO 2 WHERE: 41RPQ14930 65820 1 MI SE OF FIDDLERS GREEN WHAT: IED FIND EVENT: WHILE CONDUCTING A MOUNTED RTE CLEARANCE PATROL ALONG RTE 605, UNIT LOCATED AN IED (4 IMPROVISED CLAYMORES, FRAG BOLTS, CASINGS AND RIVOTS, INITIATOR TRIP WIRE, COMMAND PULL). A CORDON WAS SET. EOD CONDUCTED A CONTROLLED DETONATION AND CONTINUED MISSION. BDA: NO CASUALTIES OR DAMAGES REPORTED. ISAF REF # 08-0083 (CLOSED)
