TF WILDHORSE ****9-LINE IED REPORT****** LINE 1 010250ZOCT09 LINE 2 Punisher Base LINE 3 FM 64.800 SIPR 572-2414 LINE 4 14L Oil can w/blasting cap and wires visible exiting can LINE 5 NA LINE 6 NA LINE 7 None LINE 8 in the field 30m off the ECP w/ ANA overwatch LINE 9 Routine Why: LN dropped it off as per a conversation they had with him yesterday. ***END 9-LINE IED REPORT*** Timeline: 0245Z - Punisher Base reported that a LN dropped of an IED 30m outside the ECP. IED was reported to be from Gonapal Valley. 0300Z - Punisher base working with ANA from NJL to cordon off the area and provide overwatch, until EOD arrives. 0305Z - EOD notified. Contacted the SPO and arranged for a flight to get EOD to NJL at 1315L. 0955Z- EOD described IED as harmless. Controlled detonated //CLOSED// Summary: 1 x found IED by a LN 0 x injuries 0 x vehicles destroyed
