TF Bayonet reported a cache IVO Kandahar. At 0548Z, TF Bayonet reported discovering twenty kettle pot mines, twelve unserviceable 120mm mortar rounds, one MOD 5 spider device, and one mosque clock timer in a cemetery on 22DEC05. The munitions were recovered to the Kandahar ANP HQ and the spider device and clock timer were given to CEXC. The unit dispatched a patrol to recover the munitions, but it was struck by a SVBIED enroute. The unit will recover the munitions at a later date. NFTR.
