1 COY 1 COLDM GDS was conducting an independent dismounted patrol ISO OP SHEJAH PALANG. FF found wire and a battery attached to a metallic object under a rock. IEDDT was requested UPDATE 011024Z: EOD exploited the IED and pulled out a low metal content PPIED. The IEDD team exploded the explosive content and all C/S are now returning to PB4. NFTR. BDA: No collateral damage ***EVENT CLOSED AT 011056ZNOV2009***
