At 0513Z,TF Uruzgan reported COY 44 MECHBN found a PPIED while on patrol. Unit has identified a pressure plate and main charge. FF have cordoned the area and have established a 360 degrees over watch on the IED. QRF and EOD will move to the IED site. At 1100Z, TF Uruzgan reports EOD team is on scene. EOD found a pressure plate and a can of fuel. Explosive remains unknown. NFTR, event closed at 1054Z. ISAF# 01-004
