Report text
At 0625Z, RC South reported a CWIED find. While conducting a route clearance mission, FF reported a CWIED find and were engaged by SAF. FF responded from FP at Grid: 41R QR 42000 02000. FF returned fire with SAF, resulting in INS fleeing. FF established a cordon and ANA tried to disarm the device by pulling it out, with no success. FF then engaged the device with 762mm rounds and the device detonated. FF detained 2x FAMs who turned out to be LN farmers. FF deployed to investigate and described the device as 1x cooking pot under a burlap sack. No casualties or damage reported. FF continued on task. Detainees have been released. NFTR. Event closed at 0550Z. ISAF # 01-0003
