(S//REL GCTF) 5 MAY: TWO INTERNATIONAL GLOBAL STAFF MEMBERS AND THEIR AFGHAN INTERPRETER WERE KILLED IN THE DISTRICT OF NURISTAN. THEY HAD BEEN EVALUATING THE FEASIBILITY OF ESTABLISHING VOTER REGISTRATION SITES IN THE AREA. THE PRECISE CIRCUMSTANCES OF THE ATTACK ARE NOT YET KNOWN AND A THOROUGH INVESTIGATION IS CURRENTLY UNDER WAY.
