At 0837Z, ITA BG reported an IED Strike: During a NFO Patrol, FF struck a land mine or IED in the Musahi area. The device has exploded between the 2x vehicles on the patrol. The ITA QRF has been deployed to investigate. The area has been cordoned and secured. BDA: 1x UNK vehicle lightly damaged. NFI att. At 1220Z, ITA BG reported: KCP and IRT from ITA BG was on site and IIRT collected the following components from the IED device: 1x battery pack, part of an integrated circuit, antenna wire, 2x 120mm shell. All evidence will be passed to the Military Police for the forensic analysis. NFI att. At 1557Z, ITA BG reported: NFTR. Event closed at 1427Z. ISAF # 11-0017
