Report text
At 010235ZFEB07 TF Iron Gray reported while on a dismounted patrol 1km S of Methar Lam TF IRON GRAY fired upon and injured 2 LNs. The LN vehicle was traveling toward the patrol. The lead soldier extended his arm gesturing the vehicle to stop. The vehicle failed to yield, the soldier then raised his weapon following escalation of force. The vehicle again failed to yield. The soldier fired warning shots into the ground in front of the vehicle. The vehicle again failed to yield, the soldier then fired upon the driver injuring the driver and passenger. The ANA and ANP responded to the scene to provide assistance. The LNs were taken to the Methar Lam hospital and transferred to JAF for MEDEVAC. ISAF Tracking# 02-009.
