010407 TF Chosin Medevac for ANP Chief w/ gunshot wnd. MME-06-01A Patient was transfered to JAF. WD 0512z. MC. Update 1336z: 10-15 ACM attacked the ANP CP east of the ANP Center in Wanat. 7-8 at the CP were overrun and subsequently surrendered, were tied up, and stripped of their weapons. ACM then moved to the ANP center and overran it as well. Deputy ANP Police Chief, Abdullah Rostum was shot in the firefight, but ACM fighters were told to refrain from killing him by Hazrat Omar. The Firefight resulted in 1 ACM KIA, 1 ANP KIA. ACM took the ANP body and left the ACM KIA. At 1045z Police Chief was moved to front gate and transported to LN Hospital.
