(S//REL GCTF) 5 MAY: AN ISAF SPOKESMAN REPORTED THE SEIZURE OF A LARGE WEAPONS CACHE 34 KM WEST OF KABUL CITY. THE CACHE INCLUDED 650 ARTILLERY AND MORTAR ROUNDS AND COULD HAVE BEEN USED FOR AN EXTREMIST ATTACK ON THE AFGHAN CAPITAL. AFGHAN SECURITY OFFICERS WERE REPORTED TO HAVE ARRESTED 7 SUSPECTS AND SEIZED A HOME MADE BOMB IN A SEPARATE OPERATION IN THE CITY. (RSO)
