At 0501Z, TF Helmand reported an IED miss. ANA with UK OMLT was conducting a routine patrol when an IED detonated 10m ahead of their patrol followed by SAF and RPG from an unknown number of INS. FF returned fire and extracted back to PB Waterloo. EOD will exploit the site as a routine task when operational tempo permits. No casualties or damage was reported. NFI att. At 1112Z, TF Helmand reported: NFTR. Event closed at 0533Z. ISAF # 09-003
