At 011050ZNOV06, TF Zabul reported a convoy struck a VBIED IVO KAF (Grid: 42RQQ 64319 99353). 1x vehic;e was destroyed. QRF en route with 2x LAV, !xG wagon, 1x medical bison, 1x wrecker. TF Paladin en route icw ATF VIP flight. At 011104ZNOV06 ISAF requested a MEDEVAC for 3X US MIL 6km SE of Kandahar PRT. The MEDEVAC was approved as MM(S)11-01A. The patient was ground evacuated to KAF, and the event closed at 1459Z. ISAF Tracking number 11-008. Update: At 1335, TF Zabul reported that an ANA CP spotted 3x insurgents emplacing an IED. 2x insurgents were captured. ANA searched for 3rd insurgent who fled into a small town. (No insurgent or IEDs found). At 1529, TF Zabul reported 1x vehicle (M1117 ASV) in a convoy of 4 struck a SVBIED 6km SE of PRT Kandahar. 3x ISAF mil WIA (medevac), and 1x vehicle destroyed and recovered. QRF & TF Paladin responded to site, however, didnt exploit due to poor como w/ground troops.
